"Santa came to Ty's house!"

This year was exciting for us since Ty was older and had some what of a clue as to who Santa was. Christmas morning was an exciting place at our house. Ty must have been happy with everything that he got because he kept saying "wow, look it's Ty's favorite toy!" after every present that he unwrapped. A few highlights of his toy collection were Thomas trains, his very own tool set, and cars from the Disney movie Cars. Trace and Tori experienced their first Christmas this year and were very interested in what Ty was doing with all that paper! They both enjoyed playing with the paper and packaging from the other gifts. Trace must have been overwhelmed with all the excitement of the day...we came downstairs and found him asleep on the floor, curled up with Kona's bone...

Christmas Train Ride

Ty and his friend Riley Gibson took a train ride with Santa Claus. Riley's mom, also Stacie, and I had a lot of fun watching our boys get excited about their train ride. They both loved every minute of it! They even got to give the conductor their own train ticket. Ty loved seeing Santa and Mrs. Claus on the train. While we waited for Santa to come, Ty and I had a conversation about who Santa was and what he brings. I asked Ty what Santa bring to good kids and he answered "toys!" I guess he didn't understand when he would actually get the toys because after Santa said hello to Ty, he asked me "where's my toy?" The understanding will come next year I guess!
